- Open Spreadsheet in question.

- Insert a new column to the right of the “File Reference” column (Select column to the right of “File reference”, right click and “Insert”).


 

- Rename Column “Reference”

- Select Reference column and make sure under the home tab that the selected column is in the “General” format

 

- Use formula to add a comma (,) behind the file reference (Formula =”First File Reference column”&”,” ie =A2&”,”

- Copy formula down to intended cells

 

 

- Copy selected cells and paste them in to an empty browser

- Select all the file references in from the browser and Copy them


 

 

- Open Avid and navigate to “Matters” and “Reports”


 

- Search (Ctrl “F”) “Anton Recoveries” or “Anton Liabilities”


 

 

- On the “Action” tab click on “Edit Report”



- Select the required fields


 

- Select the Filter tab

- “Field” needs to be set to “File Reference”

- “Type” needs to be set to “In”

- Copy and paste step 8 data to the “Value” field.



- Click save Button

- Repeat Steps 9 and 10

- On the “Action” tab select “Excel with Single Rows”


 

 

- Report will now download.
